Energy sector experts have voted GEN-I the best electricity trader in Eastern Europe for the third consecutive year, further solidifying the company’s position as one of the most progressive players on the European energy market.
As part of the international Risk & Energy Risk survey, the GEN-I Group once again ranked first in the “Energy Risk Commodity Rankings 2019” in the category “Eastern Europe – power dealers”. This is the third consecutive year that the GEN-I Group has captured the highest award, confirming the sustained excellence of its operations, as it also achieved enviable results in the aforementioned survey in the past.
In addition to that success, the GEN-I Group rose from fourth place last year to second place this year among all European electricity traders and thus further solidified its position as one of the most progressive players on the entire European energy market.
“Our selection again as one of the leading electricity traders in Eastern Europe was expected given the GEN-I Group’s strong presence on those markets,” said Igor Koprivnikar, Ph.D., Member of GEN-I’s Management Board, who continued by saying, “We are particularly proud of our second place ranking among all European electricity traders, an achievement that clearly puts GEN-I on the map of the best electricity traders in Europe.
Those participating in the survey voted for the three best suppliers from a given category with whom they worked during the year. The results of the survey are not a reflection of market shares, but rather an indication of how experts assess the quality of a participating company in terms of reliability, pricing policy, effectiveness and responsiveness.
